Syracuse: A Hidden Gem in Sicily

Syracuse was an unexpected addition to our itinerary. Located about 1-2 hours by bus from the main city of Catania, this charming and tranquil town is a delightful destination! Compared to Catania, it is much cleaner and less crowded with tourists, giving it a cozy and adorable vibe. From the bus stop, you can walk to the city center and reach the seaside. Along the way, you'll find small shops and markets, making the experience incredibly soothing.
