#2023travelwish The 70-ton mythical Merlion, which processes the body of a fish and the head of a lion is one of the city's most iconic sights found in the Merlion Park- a scenic spot located at One Fullerton, facing the Marina Bay, near the Central Business District. Merlion Park is located at 1 Fullerton Road, Singapore 049213, and is around 500 meters 7 minutes walk from Raffles Place Mrt Station. It is open 24 hours and free to visit. This 8.6 meters tall statue, built in 1972, sprouts water from its mouth. You can come around evening time, when you have the day views on the statue and the buildings around it. Wait for the night to come, when the surrounding buildings and the statue light up. The Marina Bay Sands Light and Water Show is one of the shows that you can watch every night for free start at 8pm and 930pm. You can watch it on the Merlion Park platform, so it is also known as the Merlion Light Show. Next year i wish to travel to Iceland.
