Peaceful morning walk

Had a peaceful walk on a Monday morning through the Kranji Marshes--Singapore’s largest freshwater marshland. It was my first visit there since it opened in 2016 to provide an important habitat in the Kranji area for the conservation of biodiversity, especially for marsh birds. There was no public transport here on weekdays so I was one of the few visitors there. Most people come here for bird watching. There are a few huts for bird watchers to sit while waiting for birds. There was also an observatory tower called the Raptor Tower. I spotted snake skin at the top of the tower so I guess there was a snake which decided that it was a good place to moult? #kranjj #birdwatching #nature #hiking #wildlife #mushroom #kranjimarshes
