Compressed sculptures

Address - Shangri-La Hotel, 22 Orange Grove Road, Singapore 258350 This is not a visual trick on the eye, these sculptures are indeed compressed and stretched out like that in real life! You can find these odd works of art on display at the Tower Wing lobby area of Shangri-La Hotel. When I first saw these, it reminded me of the installations at the Trickeye Museum, where you have to take photos at a certain angle so that it looks like it’s in the right proportions. It was quite cool and I had to inspect the sculptures more closely! They also have manicured topiaries displayed in the lobby that add a bit of green and nature to the space. This gets decorated real nice during Christmas too!
