Traditional meets modern hotel bar

Address - QIN Bar, The Clan Hotel, 10 Cross Street, Singapore 048417 Nestled on level 5 of The Clan Hotel, QIN Bar is the only hotel bar within the premises. What was really interesting is that the whole bar is designed to exude and emulate the look and feel of a traditional Chinese medicine shop. The choice of darker hues and a lowered ceiling height help to create that vibe. One side of the wall along the stairs and the entire ceiling is completely covered with Chinese medicine box drawers, just like those you see at TCM shops. I must say they’ve done a good job recreating the feel, yet balancing that with modern creature comforts. Definitely worth a visit to check it out for yourself!
