Our Fun Visit to Ohsome Suntec City: Anime, Crafts, and More

#summervacay We recently visited Ohsome’s first Singapore store at Suntec City, and it really stood out as a fun and lively place to explore. It’s not your usual mall shop — it feels more like a colorful playground packed with unique items that appeal to all kinds of interests, from anime fans to craft lovers and gift hunters. One thing we loved was how the store is divided into different zones, making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for (or even things you didn’t know you wanted!). If you’re into anime, the collectibles section is a real treat. We spotted merchandise from popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and Haikyu!! — everything from collectible pins to blind boxes and ita-bags. It’s the kind of place where fans can geek out and find some cool, hard-to-get items. For those who enjoy hands-on projects, the DIY zone caught our attention. It’s stocked with craft supplies from Japan, Korea, and China — wool felting kits, modeling clay, journaling materials — perfect for anyone wanting to get creative or pick up something unique for their hobby. If gift shopping is more your thing, the gifting area is packed with quirky and thoughtful items. We saw some adorable Disney-themed floral arrangements and playful Crayon Shinchan collectibles. Plus, they offer gift wrapping and greeting cards, which is super handy if you want to grab something special and have it ready to give. Another part we found interesting was the travel zone. It’s filled with travel essentials like ergonomic neck pillows, UV-protective sunscreen, and compact toiletries — all those handy items that can make a trip more comfortable and stress-free. What really made the visit memorable, though, was the ambience. The bright neon signs, themed displays, and vibrant colors gave the store a lively and welcoming vibe. It’s definitely designed to be Instagram-friendly — we couldn’t resist snapping photos of the eye-catching neon lights and beautifully arranged products. The whole space feels playful and upbeat, turning shopping into a mini adventure rather than just a quick errand. Overall, Ohsome at Suntec City offers a fresh, exciting alternative to typical mall shopping. Whether you’re a dedicated anime fan, a crafty DIY enthusiast, a traveler, or just someone looking for unique gifts, there’s plenty to discover and enjoy. It’s a great place for us to browse, get inspired, and find those little treasures that make everyday life more fun. If you’re in the area, we’d definitely recommend stopping by to check it out — even if just to soak up the creative energy and maybe pick up something unexpected.
