🌳 Family Fun at West Coast Park

We spent an afternoon at West Coast Park and had a great time enjoying nature and family-friendly activities. It’s a huge park with something for everyone—from open fields to scenic coastal views and a massive adventure playground that kept the kids busy for hours. The playground is definitely a highlight. There are all kinds of structures, including rope courses, flying foxes, slides, and climbing frames for different age groups. It was so fun watching the kids run from one section to another while we relaxed nearby. After playtime, we took a walk to the Grand Lawn, a huge open space perfect for kite flying and picnics. There’s also a quieter part of the park with a marsh garden and wooden boardwalk, where we spotted some birds and dragonflies—very peaceful and unexpectedly rich in nature. Another nice surprise was the cycling path and GoCycling rental kiosk. We rented a couple of bikes and explored more of the park, which felt breezy and relaxing, especially with the waterfront views. There’s even a dog run and barbecue pits for families looking to spend the whole day here. Overall, West Coast Park is a fantastic spot for families or anyone who just wants a break outdoors.
