National Orchid Garden in Singapore

I visited the National Orchid Garden located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens! With over 1,000 species and more than 2,000 hybrid varieties on display, the seasonal zones representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter are visually stunning and meticulously designed, making it feel like walking through a kaleidoscope of flowers. Spanning 3 hectares of hilly terrain, the garden features various exhibition houses like the "Sembcorp Cool House" and "Tan Hoon Siang Mist House," each with different temperature and humidity settings. Among them, the mist house, shrouded in clouds and fog, offers a mystical and refreshing experience. Additionally, the VIP Orchid Garden showcases prestigious orchids named after figures like former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Princess Diana, highlighting the depth of orchid diplomacy. Along the walking paths, you'll find waterfalls and streams, as well as diverse plant spaces where ferns and bromeliads accompany the orchids. A leisurely tour takes about two hours, and visiting early in the morning allows you to enjoy the blooming flowers and fresh air to the fullest. Admission for foreign adults is S$15. The garden shop on-site also offers orchid-themed goods, making it perfect for souvenir shopping.
