The café, just a two-minute walk from Exit 4 of the Upper Thomson MRT, featured an elegant black-and-white theme with cozy seating spread across two levels. I ordered the Yuzu Teriyaki Salmon Don (rice bowl) while my wife chose the Wagyu Beef Bowl. She opted for a strawberry-flavored matcha, and since I wasn't driving, I treated myself to a glass of red wine. Unfortunately, the rice in both bowls was disappointing. The edges were hard, as if burnt—though they weren't—in both the salmon and beef bowls. While the portions of beef and salmon were generous, and the condiments like pickles were adequate, both proteins had overwhelming flavours that left us quite thirsty after the meal. #singaporeguide#food
