This hotel is housed in a building with nearly 200 years of history, charmingly situated right along the Singapore River. 🌊 The hotel's design leans heavily into metals and a black palette, giving it a very cool and edgy vibe. But don't let that fool you – the materials used are incredibly well-chosen and exquisitely designed! ✨ My stay was fantastic, especially the river-facing view from my room. With flowers, water, and bridges, it looked like a beautiful oil painting! The hotel even offers complimentary bicycles, which you can take for a leisurely ride along the riverbank. It's incredibly relaxing and enjoyable – though I highly recommend going early in the morning! Otherwise, it gets hot, sunny, and tiring (don't ask me how I know! 😉). There's also an outdoor pool on the second floor, a quiet oasis amidst the buzz, though it can get a bit sunny during the day. ☀️ Access to the stairwells and the pool area requires keycard access, which is a nice touch for privacy. The lobby is a multi-functional space, serving as a bar, a coffee shop, and a lounge area. The sofas are incredibly comfortable, and their desserts and coconut water are delicious! 🥥🍰 The hotel's dark aesthetic reminded me a bit of The Middle House in Shanghai, both mastering a predominantly black color scheme, yet each with its own distinct charm. Personally, I found The Warehouse Hotel to have a more resort-like and leisurely feel.
