Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights

A charming little city that will steal your heart! 🌸🧳 Hello there! Reporting back after another adorable trip to a new country! This time, it’s “Singapore”~ A small country that may seem tiny but is packed with style, cuteness, and jaw-dropping surprises! Let’s call this trip “Falling Head Over Heels for Singapore” 💘 🌈 DAY 1: Changi Airport x Haji Lane x Satay – Igniting the fire in your heart! Our flight departed in the morning, and we arrived in Singapore mid-morning. As soon as the plane touched down, the world changed! Changi Airport isn’t just any airport; it’s a dream destination for plant lovers and photography enthusiasts. The “Jewel” is absolutely stunning, featuring a real waterfall in the middle of a shopping mall! 🌳💦 Before heading into the city, we spent quite some time wandering around and taking photos—so much so that we forgot we were hungry (but don’t forget to eat, haha). Then, we hopped on the MRT to the Bugis area, where we had booked our hotel. The transportation was super convenient, clean, and punctual to the minute~ ⏱️ In the afternoon, we strolled around Haji Lane, a small alley filled with wall art, street art, pastel-colored cafes, handmade shops, and chic clothing stores. It was so enjoyable that we forgot about the scorching sun! Photography enthusiasts, don’t miss this spot—it’s packed with photo-worthy corners 📷🎨 In the evening, we dined at Lau Pa Sat, a classic food court housed in a European-style building famous for its satay. The aroma of grilled skewers hits you even before you reach the area. The nighttime atmosphere was warm and cozy, with a cool breeze. Eating while smiling, our hearts were warmed by the deliciousness~ 🔥 🎡 DAY 2: Universal Studios Singapore – A fantasy world for the young at heart! On the second day, we went all out at Universal Studios Singapore, the #1 theme park in many people’s hearts! (Cue the excited screams~) In the morning, we took the MRT and then the Sentosa Express for a relaxed journey. As soon as we saw the spinning globe, our hearts were full~ 🌀 Walking through the different zones was a series of “Wow!” moments. The Madagascar zone was super cute, and the Far Far Away zone felt like stepping into a fairytale world 💫👑 Our favorite ride was Transformers 4D—it felt like being in the movie! The visuals were realistic, and the movements were intense but not dizzying. Battlestar Galactica was thrilling; we spent 10 minutes psyching ourselves up before screaming our lungs out on the ride, haha. Along the way, we snacked on popcorn, Minion cakes, and picked up some souvenirs (light on the hands but heavy on the wallet)~ 🎁 In the evening, we headed to Palawan Beach, a beautiful and tranquil spot perfect for unwinding. There’s even a wooden bridge leading to a small island, making you feel like you’re in a Korean drama~ 🏖️🍃 ☕ DAY 3: Cute cafes, Merlion, and glowing trees~ 🌟 Today was all about cozy vibes and nature. In the morning, we visited Tiong Bahru, an old neighborhood filled with homey cafes and charming bakeries. We stopped by “Tiong Bahru Bakery” for a croissant that made us softly exclaim “Wow!” with its crispiness, aroma, and buttery goodness 🥐☕ Next, we headed to the must-visit hotspot: 📍Merlion Park 🦁 Of course, a trip to Singapore wouldn’t be complete without seeing the iconic Merlion! We went during the day when the sky was clear, the water was blue, and the backdrop of Marina Bay Sands was stunning. We took so many photos that our phone battery almost ran out, thanks to the water-spouting lion 😂 In the evening, we visited Gardens by the Bay, which was absolutely mesmerizing. We watched the light and sound show at Supertree Grove called Garden Rhapsody 🌳🌌 The music and lights were so moving; we didn’t expect to be this impressed. If you have time, don’t miss the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. They feature cold-climate plants, exotic flowers, and an indoor waterfall that feels like stepping into a fairytale 💐 🎁 DAY 4: Shop, eat, and chill before saying goodbye to Singapore~ 🛍️👋 It’s the last day, and our hearts felt a bit heavy because we wanted to stay longer 😢 We went to Bugis Street Market for a shopping spree, picking up souvenirs like clothes, trinkets, keychains, magnets, stuffed toys, chocolates, and quirky snacks. The prices were reasonable compared to international brands at big malls. Before heading back, we had another round of authentic Singaporean chicken rice (we’re officially in love with chicken now~). Then, we returned to Changi Airport, which never gets boring. There are plenty of areas to explore, take photos, and shop for duty-free items like famous chocolates, perfumes, souvenirs, and minimalist photo spots 💼🍫 🌟 Summary of the Singapore trip in one word: “Warm” 💛 Although Singapore is a small country, everything about it feels warm and welcoming—from the cleanliness and safety of the city to the easy transportation, friendly people, and charming places. If you’ve never traveled abroad before, this is a great starting point.
