Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights

A small city with a big heart—easy to explore and fun at every corner! 🍜🌈 Hello everyone~ Today, I’m sharing a detailed and heartwarming review of my Singapore trip, as if a friend is telling you all about it! This trip was a getaway from the hustle and bustle to relax in our neighboring country, Singapore—a small yet incredibly charming place that will melt your heart 🥺💖 ⸻ 🧳🛫 Day 1: Airport shopping vibes + meeting the real Merlion! We flew with a low-cost airline and arrived at Changi Airport, which felt like stepping into a shopping mall. “Wow, why is this airport so adorable?” It features the stunning indoor waterfall Jewel Changi, which looks like something out of a fantasy movie 😍. The waterfall is massive, surrounded by gardens and a glass bridge where you can stroll and take beautiful photos. From the airport, we took the MRT into the city using the EZ-Link card, which is super convenient for trains and buses 🚆. We stayed in the Bugis area, which is easy to navigate, close to shopping spots, and packed with restaurants 🍱. In the evening, we visited Merlion Park to snap photos with the iconic Merlion 🦁💦. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was lovely, especially with the view of Marina Bay Sands at sunset—it’s breathtaking without needing any filters 🌇✨. We ended the day with the Spectra Light & Water Show at Marina Bay, which is free! The fountains danced to music with dazzling lights, giving us goosebumps 🥹. ⸻ 🍜🎨 Day 2: Food, shopping, chilling, and exploring cafes + garden domes! We started the day in Chinatown, enjoying the legendary chicken rice at Tian Tian in Maxwell Food Centre. The fragrant rice, tender chicken, and amazing sauce were simply divine 🤤. Next, we visited the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, which is stunning inside and out. The red and gold decor is magnificent, and the peaceful vibe instantly calms your mind 🧘♀️. For café lovers, Haji Lane is a must-visit! This artistic street is filled with cool graffiti walls, cute cafes, and handmade shops 🍰☕. We sipped milk tea while people-watching, feeling like we were in a mini Soho, New York. In the afternoon, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, the highlight of the trip 🌳: • Flower Dome: Filled with flowers from around the world, arranged by seasonal themes—so romantic! • Cloud Forest: Featuring a waterfall in a tropical rainforest. The cool air and elevated walkways made us feel like we were in “Avatar” 🧚♀️🍃. At night, we watched the Garden Rhapsody Show at Supertree Grove. The giant trees lit up and blinked to Disney songs—it was magical 🥰. ⸻ 🎢🎠 Day 3: A day of childlike fun at Universal Studios! We woke up excited to visit Universal Studios Singapore (USS) on Sentosa Island 🎡. The spinning globe at the entrance was perfect for photos before diving into the fun! Our favorite highlights: • Transformer The Ride: A 4D experience that felt like being in a robot war! • Revenge of the Mummy: A thrilling indoor roller coaster that made our hearts race 😱. • Hollywood Zone: Meeting cute characters like Minions, Puss in Boots, Madagascar, and more. • Turkey Leg: Giant turkey drumsticks like in Western movies—so delicious 🍗. In the evening, we relaxed at Palawan Beach, a peaceful and charming spot. We crossed the suspension bridge to the southernmost point of mainland Asia, snapping photos as the sun set—like a romantic movie 🌅. ⸻ 🎁🛍️ Day 4: Final shopping spree + farewell to the Merlion 🥺 We packed our bags with a heavy heart. Before leaving, we went shopping for souvenirs at Bugis Street, where prices are great. There’s a wide selection of cute items like magnets, T-shirts, Merlion keychains, and authentic Singaporean snacks 🍬🎁. We returned to Jewel Changi Airport, strolling through Canopy Park, snapping photos of the flower gardens, walking on the glass bridge, and admiring the waterfall one last time. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to Singapore 🥹🌧️.
