Singapore Travel Review: 4 Days 3 Nights

A small land with a big heart 🦁✨ Hello~ Today, we’re taking you to explore the charming and super clean country of Singapore 🇸🇬. This little land seamlessly blends modernity, technology, and nature. Just talking about it brings a smile to my face because this trip was filled with delightful moments from the moment the plane landed until we returned home! Let’s pack our bags and go on this adventure together 🧳🌏 ⸻ 🌈Day 1: Hello Singapore~ Feeling excited as soon as we landed! The moment our plane touched down at Changi Airport, my heart started racing. The airport is absolutely adorable—lush greenery, cleanliness, and plenty of photo spots. Plus, there’s the “Jewel,” a glass dome with a waterfall in the middle of a mall! It felt like stepping into a sci-fi movie ✨. After clearing immigration and loading up our EZ-Link card (used for MRT/bus rides), we headed straight to our hotel. For the first night, we stayed in the Bugis area 🛏️, close to shopping spots and super convenient for getting around. The area is surrounded by cute cafes and plenty of restaurants. In the evening, we strolled to “Haji Lane,” a hip artistic alley filled with vibrant street art 🖼️. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, and I got enough photos to post for months! Later, we stopped by Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Centre. The chicken was tender, the rice fragrant, and the dipping sauce flavorful—truly deserving of its fame 🐔. ⸻ 🌟Day 2: Exploring landmarks to the fullest—walking all day without feeling tired (well, almost 😝) We started early this morning, heading to “Merlion Park” to meet the iconic water-spouting lion 🦁. We took photos with the Merlion under the morning sun, with the Marina Bay Sands in the background—a trio of towers topped with a boat-like structure. No matter how you frame it, the view is stunning! Next, we took the MRT to Gardens by the Bay, a dreamlike garden 🪴. It features the “Flower Dome,” showcasing international flora, and the “Cloud Forest,” with a waterfall inside a glass dome that feels like stepping into Avatar! Nature lovers, this is a must-visit. In the evening, we went up to the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark 🌇 for a panoramic 360-degree view of the city. The sunset view was breathtakingly romantic—perfect for couples 💕. We ended the day with the “Spectra Light & Water Show” at Marina Bay, in front of The Shoppes mall. The free show combines water fountains, lights, and music in a spectacular display that left us teary-eyed with awe 😭. ⸻ 🦄Day 3: A day of fun at Sentosa & Universal Studios! This was the day we’d been waiting for~ We woke up early to head to Sentosa 🌴. Taking the MRT to HarbourFront and then the Sentosa Express, crossing over to the island was a breeze. We started at Universal Studios Singapore 🎢🎠, and it was an absolute blast! The moment we entered, it felt like stepping into a movie world. There were countless photo spots, and thrilling rides like Battlestar Galactica and Transformers 4D had us laughing and screaming with joy 😂. Pro tip: Download the USS app to check showtimes and queue lengths so you don’t miss out. And don’t forget to snap a photo with the spinning Universal globe at the entrance! In the evening, we took the Cable Car from Sentosa back to Mount Faber. The view from here was stunning~ Overlooking the city and sea, with the evening light reflecting off the buildings, the photos looked like they were taken in Korea! 🌆 ⸻ 🍦Day 4: Shop, eat, and relax before heading home~ On our last day, we slept in a bit and then enjoyed a classic Singaporean breakfast of Kaya Toast + soft-boiled eggs + milk tea at Ya Kun Kaya Toast 🍞. The eggs were perfectly runny, paired with the fragrant soy sauce—an absolutely delightful meal. Before heading home, we strolled along Orchard Road, the famous shopping street that’s a must-visit for brand lovers. We kept it casual, stopping by Don Don Donki, Daiso, and other cute stores, picking up adorable souvenirs 🛍️. And before boarding our flight, don’t forget to leave time to explore Jewel once more (missing out on this airport is a mistake). The waterfall in the mall is truly mesmerizing, and we wandered around until we almost lost track of time. We checked in at lightning speed and bid farewell to Singapore with a heavy heart 🥺✈️. ⸻ 🎀Final Thoughts: Singapore proves that size doesn’t matter! Singapore is a compact country that packs a punch with its convenience, cleanliness, charm, and modernity 💖. It’s easy to get around, the food is delicious, the people are friendly, the city is safe, and every step is inspiring.
