Singapore Review: This trip is all about eating, sightseeing, and walking. 🇲🇨

Singapore Review: This trip is all about eating, sightseeing, walking, sweating but feeling good 🇲🇨 Hello everyone! Here we go! Our Singapore trip review, which is all about eating, no mountain climbing, no boating, just walking around, taking beautiful photos, and eating a lot at every meal! Let me tell you, this trip is not about losing weight. I'll accept that my shirt is too tight! We went for 4 days and 3 nights, just chilling with one female friend. Our plan was not tight, but our clear stance was "Eat every meal, don't go hungry". ⸻ Day 1: Arrived in Singapore! Ready to eat from the first second When we got off the plane at Changi Airport, we were like, "Wow! What airport has so many cafes and shopping malls?" We stopped by to buy some snacks before taking the MRT into town to check in at our hotel. We stayed near Bugis because it's easy to get to, there's a lot of food, and there are both street food and cafes. After packing up, we headed straight to Maxwell Food Centre to eat the legendary Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. The chicken was so tender. The rice was full of the aroma of chicken. When you pour the sauce on it, it melts in your mouth. I can only say that it was “true to its reputation”. And don’t forget to order some soup to go with it. It goes together so well. After we were full, we sat around Chinatown, looked at things, and took pictures of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. It was beautiful in an ancient Chinese style. It felt so good. Before going back to the hotel, we stopped by HEYTEA to buy another drink to fill our bellies. Their milk tea was strong, fragrant, and refreshing, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. ⸻ Day 2: Artistic Cafe – Street Hawker Woke up to chill. Today, we planned to go to Tiong Bahru, a neighborhood with many cafes. And it was a little artsy. We started with Tiong Bahru Bakery. The croissants were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were very buttery. Eating them with a hot latte was a great way to start the day. We walked a little further. There are old bookstores, handmade shops, postcard shops. So cute on every corner. Take a leisurely stroll without rushing. Today we went to Lau Pa Sat, a hawker in the city center that is famous for Satay Street. From Indian food, noodles to bak kut teh, they have it all. We ordered a mixed satay of pork, beef, and chicken. The smell of grilling hit our noses. The peanut sauce was thick. Delicious food that you can eat and dance to In the evening, go to Marina Bay Sands to take pictures with the view of buildings, boats, and lights like a first-time visitor (yes, we were excited). End the day by watching a free light and sound show at Gardens by the Bay. At Super Tree Grove, the lights are so beautiful. Listening to music makes you feel like you're in a sci-fi movie. ⸻ Day 3: Orchard – Haji Lane – Lots of food Today, we planned to go to Orchard Road, walk around cool malls like ION, Paragon, Takashimaya, not to shop much, but the air conditioning is cool and the photos are beautiful. Then, we stopped to eat Xiao Long Bao at Din Tai Fung, round balls with oozing soup. It was so good. In the afternoon, we moved to Haji Lane, which is a paradise for photographers. There are trendy clothing stores, small cafes, perfume shops, and craft shops. The graffiti walls are dazzling. We walked around taking pictures until our shutters almost burned out. Tonight, I wanted something spicy, so I went to Old Airport Road Food Centre again. I had Char Kway Teow (Singaporean-style stir-fried noodles) and Oyster Omelette (oyster omelette). There were a lot of oysters, crispy outside, soft inside, and the sauce was amazing. I have to say that I was so full that I had to sit down and rest. ⸻ Day 4: Light breakfast before flying back On the last day, we woke up early to walk around Little India to buy souvenirs. Then we had Kaya Toast with soft-boiled eggs sprinkled with soy sauce. It was simple and delicious. But very classic. Another cup of strong roasted coffee was the end of it. Before going back to Changi Airport, we had time to stop by Jewel for some light shopping. We took a picture with the waterfall in the building (Rain Vortex) and went to the airport in a good mood, carrying souvenirs, snacks, and a full bag of happiness. ⸻ In summary, as my friends told me Singapore may be a small country, but it's very complete. There are many places to visit, places to take pictures, cafes, and most importantly... delicious food at every meal! If you like to travel easily, safely, and not have to go through much, but eat well and take lots of pictures We support Singapore wholeheartedly Small Tips •MRT is your best friend, use it often, save money, easy to walk •Prepare good shoes because there is a lot of walking (like a lot) •Don't be afraid of hawker food because it's good! •Bring some cash because some small shops don't accept cards ⸻ If you are hesitating whether to go or not, let me tell you, go! Singapore is not as expensive as you think (unless you accidentally shop a lot like us). When you come back, you will know that "Just the food is worth it, my friend!" #Eat until you drop in Singapore #Chillers must come #Food is God #Travel abroad #Singapore #Singapore is worth visiting #Travel abroad by yourself
