spacious cafe with decent food

We arrived to a small empty cafe with bar, supposedly for complimentary breakfast for the hotel guests. They do serve regular lunch and dinner fare as well. Everything was good but if I had to pick one out I'd say the beef carpaccio had way too much spicy chilli oil. Portions were generous and price is reasonable but one might argue that the $5 water charge is rather outrageous. However, since we spent a good 3+ hours here and it was refilled often so I'd say it's more than fine. The pork belly tops the list followed by the kapitan pot pie (must order their fragrant coconut rice). #singaporeguide#thingstodo
