Chai, Coffee & Cultural Charm — A Morning on Arab Street

Arab Street, located near Bugis MRT Station, is more than just a historic and picturesque area — it’s also a rising café haven that blends culture, charm, and caffeine. We started our stroll at Cantina, a cozy Mediterranean-inspired café tucked along the street. With boho-style interiors, warm ambiance, and a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, it’s the perfect place to unwind. A small merchandise corner adds a lifestyle touch to the experience. Their Masala Chai was a standout — aromatic, spiced, and soul-warming, offering a peaceful break amidst the bustling street. Just a few steps away, we made our way to the iconic % Arabica, strategically located at a corner lot facing the majestic Sultan Mosque. The café’s minimalist design, signature Slayer espresso machine, and world-famous “%” logo make it a favorite for coffee lovers and Instagrammers alike. We ordered a hot black coffee, smooth and bold — a perfect contrast to our earlier chai stop. Though the queue was long, the service was fast and the coffee, worth the wait. Arab Street offers more than just photo spots — it’s where culture meets café culture, perfect for a laid-back morning or relaxing afternoon in Singapore. #singaporetrip #arabstreetsingapore #bugis #hajilane

been to Singapore recently and I visited this new bakery located at Haji Lane. the bakery is very nice and well decorated. they offer you with a lot of pastries. i really love the croissant as it tasted very good. the bakery is not that huge so in order for you to enter and purchase you need to wait. i think if I’m not mistaken they only allow 4-5 customers at a time. so you have to wait outside before you can enter. worry not they have a roof underneath the waiting area so you don’t have to wait under the hot sun. while waiting you can also have a peak on what to order. the staff us very friendly and helpful. kindly ask them about their pastries and they will be happy to tell you. by far payment method is only by cash and there is no dine in area in the bakery. overall I really love this bakery and would definitely come again here.#singaporetrip #bakery #croissant #foodie #hajilane
