Singapore's Westin Hotel: A place worth returning to.

📍Address: 12 Marina View, Asia Square Tower 2, Singapore A few years ago, I first checked into the Westin Singapore simply because I was drawn to its infinity pool. Since then, I've stayed there several times, and it has become one of my top choices whenever I visit Singapore. This time, I booked a high-floor city view king room on the 45th floor, spanning 50 square meters. By Singapore standards, the room is quite spacious. Coming from Hong Kong, where space is a luxury, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The room features large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an expansive view that even stretches towards the Pearl's Hill area. The bathroom includes a bathtub, allowing you to soak while enjoying the CBD's night view—so relaxing that you wouldn't want to leave. The hotel is located in the heart of the financial district, just a few steps away from Lau Pa Sat. While the food there isn't exactly cheap, it is authentic. One evening, I happened to catch the street closure for a night market. My friends and I sat down to enjoy satay and a bottle of Tiger beer—it was a chill experience. The bar in the hotel lobby also has a nice ambiance, making it convenient to meet friends for a drink without venturing out. The infinity pool is the highlight of the hotel. Situated on a high floor, it offers stunning views of the city's skyline. Even though I can't swim, I couldn't resist putting on a swimsuit and taking some photos—it’s truly picturesque. After all, vacations are about creating memories for yourself. The Executive Lounge's Happy Hour features a platter of prawns and unlimited red and white wine. While the food isn't particularly refined, the atmosphere is great. Sitting there, watching the sunset and enjoying some snacks, naturally puts you in a relaxed mood. Room rates are approximately HKD 2,000 per night, and if you're lucky enough to get an upgrade, it's even more worth it. Considering the standards of Singapore hotels, the Westin offers good value for money and isn't overly dated. It's suitable for business trips, photo ops, or simply a quiet getaway for a few nights.
