Renting a bike in the afternoon would be a good idea, as this will allow you to enjoy more of the park. As the sun dipped lower, the sky lit up in fiery oranges, reflecting beautifully on the water. It was one of those moments where you just pause, breathe, and take it all in. On day 2, I made my way over to Marina Bay, where the energy of the city really comes alive. Towering skyscrapers, the stunning Marina Bay Sands, and the buzz of people enjoying the waterfront—it all felt so vibrant. I stopped by the ArtScience Museum, where an interactive exhibition completely drew me in. Walking through digital landscapes that responded to movement and touch was almost hypnotic, like stepping into a dream world. As night fell, I found a spot to watch Spectra, the incredible light and water show right by the bay. It’s a mix of dancing fountains, colorful lights, and a soundtrack that ties it all together perfectly. It’s the kind of experience that makes you feel like a kid again, completely lost in the magic of the moment. No visit to Singapore is complete without wandering through Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. If there’s one place that feels straight out of a sci-fi movie, it’s this. These massive, glowing trees tower above you, their lights shifting colors in the dark. Just standing there, looking up at them, was a moment of pure awe. Keep in mind that they are not lit overnight (while I was there, they turn off the lights at 10pm). In any case, Singapore at night is something else. It’s beautiful, it’s futuristic, and it’s full of moments that make you stop and appreciate just how incredible this city is.
