Bird Paradise at Jurong Bird Park

#zoofun Jurong Bird Park, as the name implies, is home to mamy types of our feathery friends, of various colours and species, which is located in Jurong. Currently, they are in the midst of moving to their new home in Mandai. Do catch the bird shows at various timings, which is the highlight of the bird park itself. Be prepared to queue as there are limited seats due to safe distancing measures. Watch them perform hilarious and cool tricks at the commands of their trainers. Another highlight worth mentioning when I was there, is the exhibit that shows the laboratories taking care of the young chicks of the macaws and parrots before they are released into the actual enclosures. There are also paid activities which guarantee fun for all ages, especially the kids, such as feeding bird seeds to the lories at the Lory Loft or fish to the pelicans. There is also one of the largest man made waterfall there, which stood the test of time and has been in the centre of many photos throughout the years. There is also a suspension bridge which sounds scary for some but it is actually pretty stable. The birds also fly freely around the waterfall area with canopy nets above to prevent them from escaping, so that visitors can be up close with some of these birds.
