It takes about 3 hours to get there. - Arrive at the Bridge on the River Kwai. This bridge has historical significance from World War II and is a very famous tourist attraction. You can walk around the bridge and its surroundings, as well as learn about its history at a nearby museum. - Stop for lunch at the Wooden Chair restaurant, a local restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a popular spot in Kanchanaburi. Recommended dishes are Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai. The food is delicious and the service is good. - Continue to the Srinakarin Dam, which takes about 1.5 hours. - Arrive at the Srinakarin Dam. The viewpoint at the dam will allow you to see the vast lake and the surrounding mountains. You can walk along the dam and take pictures of the beautiful scenery. There are also rafting or boat rides that you can do, but I didn't. - Return to Bangkok It takes about 3 hours.
