I often need a staycation, so I chose a weekend to unwind at a hotel.

Sahe, a newly launched Eastern aesthetics hotel under Atour, is currently only available in Shanghai and Shenzhen, with the Shenzhen location being the newest addition. After my stay, I felt it was a hotel that seamlessly blends business travel with a healing experience—a place where I could sleep soundly and truly rest. From check-in, you can select your preferred aromatherapy scent and are warmly served with Atour Village's specialty tea. Shortly after settling into the room, the aromatherapy, welcome fruits, and Atour's surprise gift arrived. The room was already stocked with amenities that usually require extra selection at other Atour hotels, like foot soak bags, eye masks, mouthwash, and body lotion. The first round of the minibar is complimentary, featuring Atour Village's honey black tea, cola, and coconut water. I also saw posts from other bloggers mentioning wintermelon tea. The toiletries are from Le Labo. The bedding continues Atour's signature comfort—I opted for the 2.0 deep-sleep pillow. Another highlight of Sahe is the "Four Seasons, Three Meals" experience: breakfast + afternoon tea + late-night dining. Breakfast was truly excellent—an elevated version of Atour's usual breakfast, complete with sparkling wine. The noodle selection and toppings were abundant, and there were also customizable dim sum options. The chefs and staff were incredibly warm, constantly loading my plate with treats. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a health-focused afternoon tea with light bites and tea in the restaurant. I didn’t get to try the late-night menu this time, saving it for my next stay. Laundry service is another standout feature at Sahe. The staff are meticulous—just notify the butler, and your clothes will be picked up, washed, dried, ironed, and neatly returned in a box. Next to the laundry room are the gym and meditation room. The gym is small, but during my visits (in the afternoon), it was empty. Black coffee and bananas are provided for an energy boost. I checked out the meditation room but didn’t use it. One downside is that as a newly opened property with high occupancy, service responses can sometimes be slightly delayed.
