The layered houses are embedded on the cliffs, known as the 'Potala Palace on the Sea'. 😉About the attractions 📍Mountain and Sea Spectacle Climbing to the top of the Mountain and Sea Spectacle, one can see the beautiful scenery of mountains, reefs, beaches, clouds, sky, and sea, which is refreshing and uplifting. The four huge characters 'Mountain and Sea Spectacle' are carved on the eastern cliff, inscribed by the Governor of Zhejiang and Fujian during the Ming Dynasty, Hou Jigao. 📍Dawang Beach As the largest beach on Gouqi Island, located in Dawang Village, the beach is about 200 meters long and 20 meters wide, with fine sand quality. However, it is now fenced off due to a fee. Free beaches include Siyao Beach and Ganmiao Beach. 📍Sea Ranch Gouqi Island is the hometown of mussels, with white buoys twinkling under the sunlight, fishing boats shuttling through the green waves, forming a beautiful sea ranch painting. 📍Sunset Ganxie Pier Ganxie Pier is currently the only pier for tourists to enter and leave Gouqi Island, and it is also an excellent spot for shooting sunsets in the evening. 📍Sea Fishing You can book a sea fishing trip from the fishermen's joy, follow the boat owner to the ranch, and experience the charm of the fishermen's life.
