📍Detailed address: Abujicuo is located in Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province. This attraction means "magical place" in Tibetan. It is located in the deep mountains of Heping Village, Xiaozhongdian Town, Shangri-La City, with an altitude of about 4,200 meters. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides. It is a beautiful and highly exploratory hiking spot. ‌ Abujicuo is known as the "Pure Land" of Shangri-La. Its surroundings are magnificent, with highland scenery such as alpine meadows, virgin forests, streams, waterfalls and gravel beaches. The lake is deep and clear, shaped like a full moon, lying quietly among the high mountains on all sides. The majestic peaks are reflected in the mirror-like lake, forming a beautiful picture. The scenery here is beautiful, interesting and exploratory, and it is a suitable hiking route. 🗓Itinerary: The long-cherished Abujicuo was worth the trip 8.5km old line, the whole journey takes five and a half hours It took 3 hours to climb the mountain. I was actually taking photos along the way. After reaching the top, we had a meal and rested for about an hour. It was a quick descent, about an hour and a half, and I ran a little bit. The overall climb is 700 meters, the scenery is nice and the difficulty is not high It was raining and the road was very muddy. There were many cows and horses along the way. Be sure to wear waterproof hiking shoes, prepare a raincoat, and preferably two trekking poles ✅Must experience: Abuji Co is very beautiful, and the scenery on the road is also beautiful. You can see the Tianbao Snow Mountain people and the Abuji Sacred Mountain lined up in front of you, which is very spectacular. There will be white snow in winter, which is even more beautiful like a painting. When you pass through the primeval forest in this season, there will be many small mushrooms and patches of usnea on the trees, as if you have entered the Wizard of Oz. Of course, hiking is hard. The long distance is one thing. Some people will also experience varying degrees of altitude sickness in plateau areas, such as dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, and even vomiting. These are all normal phenomena. Everyone should do what they can according to their own situation. Some people hike to enjoy the scenery and take photos of life at the end, while others hike to enjoy the process. It doesn’t matter where you go, what matters is that you are already on the road. 🚉Transportation strategy: We stayed in Shangri-La a day in advance and navigated directly to "Abujicuo" in the morning. There was a checkpoint where we needed to get off the car and sign. We continued driving on the gravel road, which was a bit bumpy. After about an hour, we saw a few buses parked. That was the starting point of the hike, and there was no signboard!
