Immersive check-in at InterContinental Shanghai Sheshan Shimao Hotel, the feeling is absolutely amazing!

This time I went to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region and checked in at the stunning InterContinental Shanghai Sheshan Shimao Hotel (Shimao Deep Pit Hotel). It truly feels like living in a miracle built inside a pit! I chose the room with the best view, facing the waterfall directly. Although it was a bit cold in winter, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. At night, there are light and water curtain shows along with drone performances, which are super spectacular. 🏨 Hotel Highlights: - Unique location: Built inside an 88-meter deep abandoned mine pit, the building itself is a world wonder! - Unbeatable view: The room overlooks the waterfall and you can see the cliff light and shadow show, especially stunning at night. - Good dining: Breakfast has many options and suits the taste, the staff are very attentive and thoughtful. Chinese food tastes great, but seafood is not highly recommended (make sure to ask if it’s fresh before ordering).
