Unveiling the Pearl River View Room at Park Hyatt Shanghai

This time, the Park Hyatt I stayed at earned the nickname "Bottle Opener" 🤭 Located in the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), currently the second tallest building in Shanghai, standing at 492 meters (101 floors), completed in 2008, the Park Hyatt Hotel occupies floors 79-93, making it one of the world's two tallest hotels. Entering the hotel felt familiar; it turns out it was designed by Tony Chi, the same designer behind the beautiful seafood restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. This time, I unboxed the Pearl River View Room, the best room type after the suite. I stayed two nights without changing room types. The first night I booked a package including the Executive Lounge (Cloud View), around ¥2900. The second night I used American Express's FHR package, $350 including a $100 dining credit. Cloud View Park The salon is exclusive to the Park Hyatt and, like at the Ritz-Carlton, requires an additional fee. My experience there was fantastic; I'll elaborate in another post 🤭 The room wasn't particularly surprising; it was just average. I was quite satisfied with the Le Labo toiletries 🥰 The gym and pool were well-maintained and staffed, and they even offered In Body!
