Sharing a 5-day Shanghai travel plan during the October school break

With school holidays upon us, if you're looking for a fun and educational trip with your kids, don't miss this plan! This trip focuses on architectural and science and technology attractions, as well as Shanghai's famous shopping spots, all in one convenient trip. It's the perfect family getaway! 🧑🧑🧒🧒🇨🇳 Day 1: In the morning, head to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Take Metro Line 17 to Zhujiajiao Station. Stroll around, take photos, and enjoy a boat ride. Then, return to Huaihai Street and take Metro Line 10 to Xintiandi Station. Enjoy shopping and exploring, then take a bus to Waidan Beach (The Bund). In the evening, walk from Waidan Beach to Nanjing Road (about 2-3 kilometers). Day 2: Visit Disneyland. Take Metro Line 11 to the last stop at Disney Resort Station. On Day 3, check out the driverless taxis at Baidu Apollo Go Robotaxi. Take Metro Line 2 to Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Station and hail a taxi for another 10-15 minutes. Then, return to the city and take a photo with the LV cruise ship. Take Metro Line 2 back to Lujiazui Station, Exit 6 or 7. In the evening, stroll around the North Bund and Greenland. Take Metro Line 12 to International Cruise Terminal Station, Exit 3. On Day 4, visit the Shanghai History Museum. Take MRT Line 1, 2, or 8 to People's Square Station, Exit 1 or 2. Then, head to Chenghuangmiao Market and Yuyuan Garden, then take the MRT to Yuyuan Garden Station. On Day 5, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Take MRT Line 2 or 7 to Jing'an Temple Station, Exit 1. Then, admire the architecture of the 1000 Trees Building, then take MRT Line 13 to Jiangning Road Station, Exit 1. In the afternoon, go shopping at Florentia Village Outlets before returning home. Take MRT Line 2 to Yuandong Avenue Station, Exit 2, then take a taxi for about 15 minutes. It's very close to the airport.
