An hour out of Shanghai is this ancient watertown, Zhujiajiao. Take a atep back in time while you float down the waterways, walk on the cobbled paths and enjoy all the sights this place has to offer. We loved catching a glimpse of the red moon and sharing some delicious food alongside the peaceful river. They have modern conveniences, including western toilets, and McDonalds but even they look ancient from the outside.
