If Chengdu has Ganglu Roasted Goose, Shanghai has to have this place. The red pork is very juicy, tender with a bit of fat, perfectly sweet and salty, served with 2 fried eggs and boiled vegetables. Another dish ordered is a mixed rice with 3 items: juicy chicken with crispy skin, tender braised pork belly, tofu, boiled egg, and boiled vegetables as usual. It pairs perfectly with scallion oil. The shop is located in the East Nanjing Road area, close to the subway station. Not many Thai people have come here yet; mostly Chinese customers.
