Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel: A business choice, not a vacation experience

🛏Room Amenities: As a Gold member, I successfully upgraded from a basic room to a 60m² panoramic corner room, which had a broad view and a particularly stunning view of the harbor at night. I heard from others that the basic room type is actually quite large. However, the hotel's overall Chinese Sheraton style and public areas are relatively old, and the hardware needs to be renovated. Although the view from the guest rooms is of the harbor, which is quite special, the daytime view is dominated by industrial chimneys, lacking natural beauty. 🍽Limited Dining Options: I only purchased one breakfast when booking the room, but the hotel gave me two extra ones. The executive lounge was closed during the Labor Day holiday. However, the breakfast selection was simple, and there are few businesses nearby, so you can only rely on the hotel's restaurants or convenience stores. 🚉Transportation Guide: The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Jilong Road subway station, making it suitable for business trips in Pudong or transfers to Shanghai Disneyland (25-minute drive). 🌟Highlights: This hotel is suitable for racking up stays or business transfers, but the tourism experience is limited. Nearby, you can go to Binjiang Forest Park or Gongqing Forest Park, the latter of which is better.
