Who understands the joy of waking up on the Bund and opening your eyes to a stunning river view? 💖 This stay at Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund was an absolute delight, and I must share it with you all! 📍 The hotel's location is superb, right on the Huangpu River in the North Bund, overlooking the skyscrapers of Lujiazui across the river. The Bund's historic buildings are also within easy reach, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Waibaidu Bridge, perfect for taking photos or strolling 🚶. There is also a subway station nearby, making it very convenient to get around. 🏨 Walking into the hotel, I was immediately drawn to its ambiance. Surrounded by bamboo groves, the hotel is quiet and serene, a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle outside, giving it a sense of being hidden away in the city. The lobby is filled with a subtle essential oil fragrance, and the soothing music instantly relaxes you. The atmosphere is simply amazing. 🛏️ The guest rooms are my favorite part! This time, I stayed in a Serenity Club Romantic River View Room. The room was spacious and bright, with a simple yet luxurious decor. As soon as I entered, the huge picture window caught my eye, offering an unobstructed view of the charming scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River. Watching the boats come and go during the day and admiring the dazzling lights at night, every frame is breathtaking. There is also a super romantic Serenity Pool by the bed. Soaking in the warm water, sipping champagne, and watching the river view is the vacation life of my dreams 🍾. 🍽 The dining options are also excellent. The semi-buffet breakfast at Oceans Western Restaurant is varied. In addition to the usual Western dishes, there are also special Chinese snacks. I highly recommend the spare rib rice cakes. The ribs are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the rice cakes are soft, glutinous, and sweet. Paired with a special sauce, one bite is incredibly satisfying. The TOPS rooftop bar on the top floor is the perfect place to admire the night view. Order a special cocktail, feel the river breeze, and take in the dazzling night view of the Bund and Lujiazui. The atmosphere is simply amazing. But please note that TOPS Bar will be closed for renovations from February 15, 2025. Those who want to visit can check with the hotel in advance~ 💆‍♀️ The Banyan Tree Spa is also a must-try. Located on the first floor of the hotel, the Banyan Tree Spa maintains the brand's consistent high quality. The signature Thai massage, combined with carefully blended massage oils and professional and skilled technicians, will leave you feeling refreshed from head to toe. The hotel also has a 700㎡ special heated swimming pool and a fully equipped gym on the third basement level, where you can enjoy swimming or exercising to your heart's content. 💁‍♀️ The service is impeccable. From the warm welcome at the front desk during check-in to the prompt response of the room service, the staff is very professional and attentive. Any needs can be resolved as soon as possible, making you feel at home.
