Shanghai Bund W Hotel

Booked a twin room with a stunning view of the Bund, but the view wasn't directly visible from the room; you had to look sideways to see it. I was a bit disappointed. The room is about 46 square meters, which is sufficient for two people, but overall it feels a bit small. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, with two sinks, making it convenient for brushing teeth, washing face, and applying makeup simultaneously. There's a sofa by the window where you can lounge around, and overall, the room is quite comfortable. There were White Rabbit milk candies on the table as a welcome gift. Since it was noted that we were celebrating a birthday, they sent a five-inch chocolate cake, which was surprisingly delicious and quite large. The hotel lobby is on the fourth floor. You need to go to the fourth floor to check in and then take the elevator to the guest rooms, which is quite secure. Breakfast is served at The Kitchen Table, with a wide variety of dishes including bread, salads, cold dishes, hot dishes, freshly cooked beef noodles, and small wontons. Everything tasted good, and the most surprising dish was the lamb chops, which were tender and not gamey at all. I couldn't resist having a second one. 👍 The gym has exercise equipment and a weight training area.
