A Cozy Retreat at Drops Café, Wu Kang Lu, Shanghai

Tucked away on the charming Wu Kang Lu, Drops Café is a hidden gem that perfectly blends modern aesthetics with cozy warmth. I’m always on the hunt for unique cafés, and Drops didn’t disappoint. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a minimalist yet inviting ambiance, with soft lighting and a calming coffee aroma in the air. Their coffee selection is top-notch—I opted for a latte and my friend a macha latte which had a rich, well-balanced profile. What stood out most was the café’s relaxed vibe. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to read or a stylish backdrop for your next Instagram post, Drops Café ticks all the boxes. If you’re in Shanghai and love a good coffee experience, this spot is a must-visit! #discoverchina ☕✨ #dropscafe #wukanglueats #shanghaicafehopping #foodieadventures

Grand Central Hotel Shanghai

#discoverchina Spent 2 nights at the Grand Central. Entering into the hotel seemed a bit cluttered with the fist view one gets is of the bar and the breakfast area, with reception tucked away at the back. Check in was very efficient hence quick. From the reception you get a more grander view of the hotel and know you are in 5* surroundings The room was large and very grand. The furnishing lived up to it. the bathroom was large and ornate. At breakfast staff were good and service very good. Food selection was okay, not very big. Hotel in a very good position and in walking distance to most places...Nanjing Road, the Bund, Peoples square etc. Had a good stay. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anybody.
