Chenshan Botanical Garden is a great place to take kids.

The Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Chenshan Botanical Garden. I happened to have five annual passes, so I chose a working day to take my child there. For a 2-year-old, Chenshan Botanical Garden is really comprehensive. A full day outdoors is a great way for kids to burn off energy and learn about plants and animals. 🚩Address: 3888 Chenhua Highway, Songjiang District, Shanghai 🚘Parking: Paid parking lot available ⏰Suggested visiting time: 1 day 🎟️Tickets: 60 yuan, free for children under 6 💯Kid-friendly features: ✅ Small zoo The zoo has sheep, deer, peacocks, etc. Feeding is not allowed. ✅Climbing net Limited to children 1.2m-1.5m tall. A very large net weaving area, great for jumping and climbing to burn off energy. ✅Pirate ship Pirate ship shaped, a large sandpit with climbing frames and slides. ✅Tree house A tree house built of wood, with a swaying suspension bridge. ✅Three greenhouse clusters Tropical Flower and Fruit Pavilion, Desert Plant Pavilion, and Rare Plant Pavilion are all worth visiting. ✅Mining Pit Garden Designed on the site of an artificial mining site, with waterfalls, plank roads, and caves. It's very stunning and a must-see in Chenshan Botanical Garden. ✅Kawazu cherry blossoms The Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom this season. It's very relaxing and enjoyable to spread a mat under the cherry trees and enjoy the flowers. Tips‼️ ‼You can park your car anywhere in Guangfulin Country Park across the street for free. It's just across the road from the Botanical Garden. Navigate to Gate 7 of Guangfulin Country Park. ‼Chenshan Botanical Garden has many newly built public restrooms with baby care rooms. The baby care rooms are very clean and sanitary, and have warm air. ‼Bring enough food and water. There are only a few snacks available for purchase in the park, and they are a bit expensive.
