I went to Guangfulin just for these two red maples!

I've been to Guangfulin many times and taken photos of the Fulin Pagoda, but this is the first time I learned that there is a temple here in the style of the Tang Dynasty. Compared to the temples in the city, this place is sparsely populated, with only the sound of Buddhist chants. The most beautiful part of Zhiyue Zen Temple is the red maple on the left side of the main hall, which complements the Tang-style architecture. Some branches with fallen leaves intertwine, further accentuating the desolation of early winter. On the other side is the Sanyuan Palace, which, together with Zhiyue Zen Temple and Fulin Pagoda, creates a unique scene of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism coexisting.
