How Longhua Temple’s Art Blows Me Away

The sculptures and decorations at Longhua Temple are marvelously impressive. Honestly, I’m not even that into religious art, but these sculptures and the way they designed the interior are truly beyond. For example, their idea of golden angels floating on white clouds, representing heaven, is so stunningly depicted. It’s not something I could’ve imagined on my own, and when I saw it, it blew my mind. There’s so much to see here, so don’t skip any of the buildings. I’d recommend going through all the shrines, sticking your head through the doors and checking out what’s inside.
