Who says Shanghai is beautiful and romantic during the day? I'd recommend taking a walk and admiring the lights at dusk. It's truly amazing! The air, the colors, and the tones are all so perfect. It's truly a major city in China. I highly recommend everyone to come. Especially if you come in December, January, or February, the weather is perfect. You won't sweat at all.
