The Root of Shanghai's Historical and Cultural Heritage~ Guangfulin

As the root of Shanghai's historical and cultural heritage, Guangfulin is not a mainstream tourist attraction. Although the 'Underwater Museum' has become popular, the location is quite remote. The park is large enough, with a hidden 'suburban park' where you can see lotus flowers in summer and snow in winter. The combination of the southern water town vibe with small bridges and flowing water, plus the Huizhou-style architecture with white walls and black tiles, is perfect. However, the internal route is confusing, the subway station is far, and there are many attractions in the park. Please save this guide 👇 Guangfulin itself does not require an entrance fee, but it contains four exhibition halls that do require a ticket (a combined ticket for 65 yuan, the 'Underwater Museum' or 'Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall' for 30 yuan). If you want to take pictures of the Underwater Museum, you don't need to buy a ticket; you can shoot from a distance. ⛳️ Fulin Gate, a great photo spot close to the entrance of the exhibition hall. Enter through the Zhuque Gate and exit through the Guangfu Gate; the nearest subway station is (Songjiang University Town), and you can get off near Exit 2 to grab some snacks. 🚩 Suggested route: Zhuque Gate (parking) → Guandi Temple/City God Temple → Resort → Archaeological Exhibition Hall → Rapeseed/Sunflower/Lotus Field → Bone Needle Square → Zhiye Zen Monastery → Fuchen'an Art Gallery → Duoyun Bookstore → Underwater Museum → Sanyuan Pagoda → Fulin Imprint → Walk around the lake → Exit through Fulin Gate.
