Green Walk: Changgyeonggung Greenhouse and the Ancient Palace Through the Seasons.

Day 1 In the morning, I arrived at Changgyeonggung Palace, located in the heart of Seoul. This ancient palace is quietly hidden within the modern city, exuding a serene charm. As I passed through the palace gates, I was greeted by lush courtyards and winding paths, as if I had traveled back in time to the Joseon Dynasty. Upon reaching the Changgyeonggung Greenhouse, a glass structure built in 1909, it felt like a miniature botanical museum. The greenhouse showcases exotic plants from around the world, with thriving tropical plants and blooming flowers creating a dreamlike scene. I spent the entire morning strolling through this vibrant space, quietly admiring the details of each plant and experiencing the perfect blend of nature and architecture. In the afternoon, I walked along the lakeside within the palace, feeling the gentle breeze and a sense of unprecedented tranquility. Day 2 On the second morning, I returned to Changgyeonggung Palace, this time choosing the paths around the palace to explore more hidden corners. Walking along the stone paths, I discovered many beautifully carved ancient wells and pavilions, seemingly witnesses to the daily life of the royal court. Later, I visited the nearby Jongmyo Shrine, feeling its solemn and respectful atmosphere, further immersing myself in the cultural essence of the Joseon era. In the afternoon, I returned to the Changgyeonggung Greenhouse, sitting quietly on a bench beside the greenhouse, reading a book about the history of the palace. As the sunlight filtered through the glass, I felt completely surrounded by greenery.
