A Day Exploring Seoul Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Cheonggyecheon Stream

During my visit to Seoul, I explored three fascinating locations that showcased the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Gyeongbokgung Palace, with its majestic architecture and serene gardens, offered a glimpse into Korea's royal past. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. Just a short walk away, Bukchon Hanok Village provided a charming escape with its narrow alleys and traditional hanok houses, giving me a sense of old Seoul amidst the modern city. Many of the homes are still used as residences, while others have been converted into cultural centers, galleries, and tea houses. Finally, I strolled along Cheonggyecheon Stream, a peaceful urban oasis, where the flowing water and surrounding greenery created a calm contrast to the busy streets, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. #korea #gyeongbokpalace #bukchonhanokvillage #cheonggyecheon #travel
