This exhibition tells the story of the 'Hipgnosis' studio, which produced unique album covers at that time, through their works. HIPGNOSIS is a combination of the word 'HIP', which means cool, and 'GNOSTIC', which means wise, and it means a hip and intelligent existence. The meaning itself is really cool. In the 60s, there was no Photoshop, so all works were actually processed by hand. At the Hipnosis exhibition, I was able to see the process of creating LP album covers and how they overcame and accepted numerous trials and errors, and their life journey. It would be a good time to look at the unique works and think about what meaning each piece contains, and it would also be a good time to share opinions while on a date. In order to succeed, it is important to look ahead to the future and adapt to the rapidly changing times by following the trends. I looked at the lives of two young designers from Hipnosis, an up-and-coming studio in the 1960s and 1980s, and seriously thought about how to adapt and accept the changing times. As the name suggests, the Hipnosis exhibition had many hip spaces inside. The spaces are cool, so it is a good exhibition to take pictures and see each Hipnosis piece in detail.
