Sungnyemun Gate 🇰🇷 Korea

#seoultrip Sungnyemun Gate is the first historical landmark you will likely see when exiting the Seoul Station. The grand gate is accessible by foot and you can walk through the huge archway. The gate has been restored and the paintworks are intricate and brightly colored. When visiting or driving past at night time the gate will be lit up with floodlights even very late. Is it worth adding this to your itinerary, probably not, but will you likely pass here anyway, sure. So take a few minutes out of your touring to visit the historical site, take a few pictures and continue on to the main spots in Seoul!
