Sapa: A Nature Escape

This paradise is only a 6-hour road trip from Hanoi. We visited in January and the place was colder than Alaska in the summer (not a fair comparison but it really was cold!). Fansipan is a must-visit and you need to be properly dressed to fight the cold! Going up the mountain is an experience itself - slowly seeing a different ecosystem and inhaling thin air. Food is varied; we ate a lot of non-Vietnamese food. I must say, eating KBBQ and pairing it with beer/soju while dining in the cold is one of the highlights of my trip! #vietnam #sapa #fansipan
