The village of Oia on the island of Santorini is undoubtedly the most visited Mediterranean village for two reasons. It is a typical Greek village, with its white houses and blue domes but also and above all for its sunsets. To be honest, if you want to spend a weekend in Oia, it is better to be outside the village. We were in Perigolas, only 1 kilometer from the village. The village of Oia is, of course, charming, but I thought it looked more like a soulless village, no Greeks live there anymore. Then if you go there to see the sunset, you'll have to be patient and prepare yourself a few hours before to have a good place and avoid the crowd. Because it's like an attraction and that's what took all the magic out of it for me, so I decided to visit the village at sunrise because the streets are quieter and you can really enjoy the place without rushing. #awesomepic #unforgettableexperiences #couplestrip #scenicspotguide #travelinspiration #springholiday #instagramworthydestinations
