Santa Pola Maritime History Exhibition

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Alicante (Region) The museum is housed in a fortified castle, a 16th-century building that is a true example of Renaissance military art. It is a thematic exhibition focusing on the history of Santa Pola, with six themes: prehistory, the Iberians, the “portus ilicitanus”, coastal fortifications, fisheries and salt flats. Some of the pieces on display are household items such as looms, punch machines, ornaments, amphorae and mosaics.
