A Relaxing Hotel Stay with the Kids

Last-minute decision to take a short city getaway with my partner and the little one. This time we chose a family-friendly hotel. Arrived at noon to check in, and the moment we entered, the kids were instantly drawn to the adorable rubber duck-themed decorations, hopping around the room with excitement. The hotel was so thoughtful—providing children's toiletries, kid-sized slippers, and cute stuffed animals. After unpacking, we took the kids to explore the hotel grounds. The leisure area was lovely, featuring a bakery and a charming bookstore with great ambiance. We even managed to snap some fantastic photos of the kids right at the hotel—it truly captures the essence of Quanzhou's Dasi Hou Homestay (Xijie Kaiyuan Temple Branch). So relaxing! The hotel is conveniently located opposite Kaiyuan Shengshi Square, just a 200-meter walk to Kaiyuan Temple. The handy "Xiaobai" electric shuttle is right at the doorstep, making transportation a breeze. In the evening, we hopped on the Xiaobai to Xijie for some delicious local food, then headed back early for a cozy bath time with the kids 🛀🏻. Can't help but marvel at how much Quanzhou has developed over the years—this one-day trip was truly delightful, with great food, comfy stays, and loads of fun!
