Day 2: Putian and Meizhou Island.

Round-trip ferry and ticket for adults is CNY 125. You need to board the island at the agreed time, but you can leave the island at any time. You can stay on the island for a year and then choose a time to go ashore. The first ferry departs from Wenjia Wharf at 7:20 and the last one at 18:00. The first ferry departs from Meizhou Wharf at 7:00 and the last one at 17:40. There are night flights at 18:20, 19:00, 20:00, and 21:00. The ferry departs from Meizhou to Wenjia and then returns. My route on the island is as follows: After landing on the island, take the bus to the southernmost end of Meizhou Island and get off at Ewei Shenhushi Station to visit Ewei Marine Erosion Geological Park. Then take the bus back to the north side of the island to visit the Mazu Ancestral Temple. Turn right at the exit to eat at McDonald's and take a break. In the afternoon, take the bus to Jintan Road Station. There is a young mangrove forest here. After visiting, continue walking 1.5 km west to the Golden Beach to watch the sunset. - Putian, Meizhou Island, Ewei Marine Erosion Geological Park Ewei Mountain is located at the southeast end of Meizhou Island. It is named after its resemblance to a goose tail. It is a natural geological park, also known as Ewei Shenshi Park, covering an area of about 32 hectares. Under the dual effects of wind erosion and marine erosion, many pictographic stones of different sizes and shapes have gradually formed, such as Haimen, Turtle Stone, Feiji Cave, Fupi Cliff, and Mazu Library. They are of various shapes and forms. The natural photo frame "Feiji Cave" in the park is very similar to the "Shengxiang Tianmen" in Dalian. I took photos for three groups of people here. There is a mini version of the Queen's Head on the cliff on the east side of Wuhai Xundeng. It is not only small in size, but also not as slender as the one in Yehliu Geopark in Taiwan. It is probably what the Queen looked like when she was a child.
