The tranquil and beautiful Vyšehrad Cemetery in Prague

The Vyšehrad Cemetery is right next to the Church of St. Paul and St. Peter. More than 600 Czech noble families and outstanding figures in various fields are buried in the cemetery, including the famous Czech artist Mucha, the famous Czech author Kafka and the famous Czech composer Dešak. Some cemeteries will design tombstones based on the deceased's occupation during his lifetime. For example, there is a violin on the tombstone in Figure 4, telling everyone that the deceased was a violinist. The corridors on both sides of the cemetery are the burial places of early nobles, bishops and wealthy people, so each tombstone is exquisitely and luxuriously carved, like a work of art. The cemetery is managed by a dedicated person, the environment is beautiful and clean, there is no eerie feeling at all, it feels more like a park, peaceful and tranquil 😍.
