🇵🇹 I thought Lisbon was the most beautiful… but I changed my mind after coming to Porto.

#EuropeanTravel Porto, Portugal ~ If Lisbon is an elegant lady, Porto is like a poet who has experienced the storms of life. A city that quietly tells stories while looking out over the Douro River—that’s Porto. City Introduction Porto (Oporto) is the second largest city in Portugal, and an ancient city with a history that dates back to the 4th century BC. The old name ‘Portus Cale’ is the origin of the country’s name ‘Portugal’. The city is world-famous for its Port Wine, and is full of Baroque architecture and gorgeous azulejo tiles (colored ceramic tile decorations). Must-see attractions in Porto 1⃣ Douro Riverside Walk (Ribeira) Buildings with red roofs and yellow walls are built on the hillside, and the traditional Rabelo slowly floats along the medieval fairytale-like landscape. This boat, which used to carry Porto wine, still carries its history on the river. 2⃣ Luis I Bridge (Ponte Luís I) A two-story iron bridge designed by Eiffel's disciple, on one side you can see the quaint Porto Old Town, and on the other side you can see Vila Nova de Gaia, famous for its wineries. It's a beautiful viewpoint both during the day and at night. 3⃣ Must-see attractions in Porto • Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto) A magnificent cathedral that combines Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles. From the square in front of the cathedral, you can overlook the entire city. • Lello Bookstore (Livraria Lello) One of the ‘most beautiful bookstores in the world’. The red spiral staircase and Gothic interior make you feel like you’ve stepped into Harry Potter’s Hogwarts. • São Bento Train Station (São Bento) A historic train station decorated with over 20,000 blue azulejo tiles. Each tile is a work of art depicting a scene from Portugal’s history. • Clérigos Church & Bell Tower (Torre dos Clérigos) A bell tower that is the symbol of Porto. Climb to the top, 76m high, and you’ll have a panoramic view of Porto.

Porto is one of my favorite trips that i have ever been especially in halloween . It has magical view and generous people, when you come here you will find so many attractions or experiences that you will enjoy ! When i went there i went to braga to see the famous historical building and enjoy their green wine, i also gained a lot of new knowledge about wine when you go there you will see many kinds of wine which is very interesting because its totally different from other parts of the world, in Portugal, they claimed to be the BEST WINE in the world but its not popular because of they have small production compare to other countries but their quality its speechless!!! And i went stomping grapes and i gad so much fun and when i went to Aveiro ( around 2 hour far from porto) it called “ Venice of Portugal” it was a lovely small town everybody knows each other and their famous sweets are ovos moles and yet we have that in Thailand because in the history Portuguese people came to Thailand and introduced this sweet in Thailand, Nowadays its call “ foi thong” which is Thai words and the taste is similar haha.
