E-Tong Village, Pilok Mine

Pilok Mine, which was once prosperous in the past, around 1940, a tin mine with 600 workers until the global price of minerals fell as a result of the price cut from China. Around 1984-1985, the glory of mining ended. Pilok, which was once prosperous, had a thriving market, and used to have 2 cinemas, but became quiet. The mines here gradually closed down. The workers began to return home and disperse. Currently, the main income of E-Tong Village is tourism.
