[Phuket, Thailand] Airplane lovers, unite!

St. Martin, an island in the Caribbean Sea, is famous for being able to enjoy watching planes land up close, but there is actually a place in Phuket, Thailand that is called the St. Martin of the East◎ That is Mai Khao Beach, next to Phuket International Airport, I was able to spend two days here watching and photographing a lot of aircraft✈️ I have been to the original St. Martin, but Phuket has more landings and larger aircraft, so I might recommend it👍 There is a wide variety of airlines, from Middle Eastern and Russian to European, so if you like airplanes, you will never get bored😆 Landing from the sea side is mainly during the dry season, so if you are looking to take photos, I think it is best to go between November and March. Even in the dry season, there are many cases of landing from the other side in the afternoon, so it is better to plan mainly in the morning☝️ Since it is a beach, there is no shade. Be sure to take precautions against sunburn and heatstroke💦 There are several stalls at the entrance to the viewpoint, so you can have a light meal there😊 How to get there: I stayed at a hotel about 2.5km away, and took the free rental bicycle provided by the hotel, but it seems that many people visit by taxi.
